Can You Be a Lunch Buddy?

One hour per week is all it takes to be a lunch buddy at Lynbrook Elementary. Anne L, the wonderful and caring guidance counselor at Lynbrook Elementary has a waiting list of ten children who would love to have a lunch buddy. Would you consider having lunch one hour per week with an at-risk child? The presence of a one-on-one lunch buddy can make an enourmous difference in a child's life. Please talk with Anne W-H. or Brenda R for more information.

Books for Lynbrook

Once again St. John's is collecting children's books for Lynbrook Elementary School. Our goal is to provide at least one book for each student to take home for summer reading. Books can be new or gently used. The collection box is in the Education Office. The collection effort will end May 26th.
