Always wanted to read the Bible, but never did? This class is for you! Imaginative videos enhance studying the books of the Bible, and comparing interpretations of different versions through discussion.
Available 9 11:30 AM. Your child will be well cared for by 2 nursery attendants. Play, music, and stories are offered depending upon the child's ability and interest.
Ages 4 years to 4th Grade. Sunday School is meant to be fun! Children dive into Bible stories and scripture, doing imaginative crafts and playing game that emphasize the lesson.
5th , 6th & 7th Grades. What interests today's pre-teens? Using media tools and Faithweaver® resources, youth discuss Bible stories, scripture, and Christian principles. Includes hands-on-mission activities and visits to mission centers.
Today’s teenagers use critical thinking in their understanding of faith and how it applies to them. Led by St. John’s Youth directors, teens discuss Bible stories and Christian principles in the context of their lives.
THURSDAY 10:30 AM—Noon [Library] A casual, small group gathering to study books of the Bible and Christian topics of interest through weekly readings and discussions.
Each year at the end of June, St. John's Music Ministry holds a Children’s Music Camp. Classes include singing, handbells/handchimes, creative movement and Orff/rhythm instruments. After a fun filled week of learning about music, the camp students perform a musical program at the following Sunday’s worship service.
The camp is held Tuesday through Sunday (including Saturday) from 9:30 a.m.—12:30 p.m. It is free for children ages 4—10 years old. Campers are asked to bring their own snacks and drinks each day.
