Amazon Smile

St. John's is now a registered charity on AmazonSmile. AmazonSmile is a program sponsored by Amazon in which they donate 0.5% of the price of eligible AmazonSmile purchases to charitable organizations.

Each individual Amazon shopper can choose which charity they want to support.

If you are an Amazon shopper, this is a great way to support the missions and ministries of St. John’s just by doing the shopping you do already.

If you’re not an Amazon shopper, maybe this is a reason to start.

It's so easy to help St. John's this way. Here’s what you do:

  1. Go to the website www.smile.amazon.com (not just amazon.com)
  2. Log in using your regular Amazon user name and password.
  3. In the search box, type in Saint Johns United Methodist Church.
  4. A list of several Saint Johns will come up so be sure to click on the one in Springfield VA.
  5. It will then take you to the homepage where you can start shopping.
  6. That's it! Amazon takes care of the donations.
  7. Also, the next time you log in to smile.amazon.com, it will automatically register your purchases for our church.

As the company says "AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service." You're just doing good for others while you shop.
